Welcome to another ‘Outside The Box’ post – where we write about anything and everything except our equestrian subscription boxes. This post is about the drop-dead gorgeous Limited Collection leggings from Aztec Diamond Equestrian.
I’ve been a very lucky girl indeed, as Aztec Diamond very kindly sent me these leggings. I love them so much that I’ve decided to write about them. Firstly, and most importantly:
These leggings fit like a dream! Thanks to the four-way stretch technical fabric, they really ‘hug’ your legs and seem to perfectly follow the contours of your body.
Personally, I really struggle to find jods and breeches that are both long enough and a tight enough fit, so these are a really good alternative. Also, it’s worth noting just how thick these leggings are. I was expecting them to feel like swimsuit material but they’re dense and supportive, yet very stretchy at the same time.
According to the Aztec Diamond website, their garments have a ‘true to size’ fit and I found this to be accurate. I wear the XS size which roughly equates to a UK 4, and these leggings go up to an XL which fits a size 18. Therefore, I’m pretty certain that most people would be able to find their perfect fit.
I have enjoyed riding in leggings for a couple of years now. However, the one drawback has always been the distinct lack of pockets! This problem has been solved here, because the Limited Collection leggings have a long zipped pocket on the right leg. I can fit my phone in here perfectly with room to spare for some keys, too.
If you prefer a little more grip in the saddle, then these might not be for you, as they are perfectly smooth and don’t feature any silicon patches. However, I’ve worn Aztec Diamond leggings whilst jumping, galloping, and out on happy hacks, so they suit me down to the ground.
Aesthetically, these have really impressed me. These Limited Collection leggings are available in black and khaki, and both are very smart.
I really like all the little details, like the tone-on-tone graphic print of ‘ADE’ on some of the panels. The ‘Limited Collection’ logo looks lovely as well, finished in silver and easily visible on the left thigh.
They look incredibly luxe without being in-your-face bling. They’ll add a touch of glamour to any riding outfit. Alternatively, they also make great gym leggings!
All in all, these stylish leggings have really won me over. They score full marks for fit, functionality and aesthetics, and I really can’t fault them.
